We have a  position available for an experienced Data Protection and Governance Manager to join our DTA team located in Pennsauken, NJ.

 

ENTER JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of the overall data and analytics strategy, Bayada is building industry-standard enterprise-scale platforms & services to transform and support its operations. Towards this effort, Bayada is looking for a leader to drive data security and privacy compliance and implement the data governance policies.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, and reliability.
  • Four (4) year college degree, preferably in an IT (Information Technology)/ MIS related field.
  • Acceptable pre-employment assessment results.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices.
  • Experience with defining data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
  • Knowledge of data related to government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues, in particular HIPAA.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design.
  • Hands on experience in data security and privacy software solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Roll out a data governance framework focusing on the improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data.
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of BAYADA’s principal information assets.
  • Develop & support inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and owners.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
  • Performing depositions to validate that data pulled from our systems is complete and accurate
  • Review and sign-off on design architecture release on conformance and management of data assets.
  • Liaise with data engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure personal and sensitive data are stored and monitored appropriately
