Junior Business Analyst

The Minneapolis office of IPG DXTRA has an opening on the Shared Services team for a Junior Business Analyst.

This position is responsible for various day to day activities, understanding business processes, applying knowledge to research and resolve issues, and assisting with special projects and initiatives. IPG DXTRA is a global entity encompassing several industry-leading marketing and communications agencies, including Weber Shandwick, Golin, Octagon and Jack Morton Worldwide. IPG DXTRA employs over 5,000 people throughout the world and is an operating unit of The Interpublic Group of Companies, which is among the world's largest advertising and marketing services organizations.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Learn, understand, and apply end-to-end processes related to Intercompany Netting, Banking, Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, and Travel & Entertainment
  • Monthly/Weekly Clean-up tasks such as, follow up on stale dated checks, research and clear intercompany items, Atrium payment clearing, merchant bank fee breakouts, and other additional items
  • Occasional testing for SAP changes & updates
  • Documentation and training on business processes
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Cross-training with the Senior Business Analyst, Accounting Administrators and Business Manager


  • Associates degree, or working towards a financial degree preferred
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized with effective communication skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office products required
  • SAP experience is a plus
