They understand the importance of GMP and when to escalate quality/compliance risks and can identify OOS/OOT results and interpret the data. They take responsibility for their own and other's safety, adhering to correct procedures, including COSHH and risk assessments.</p> <p> </p> <p>Location: <strong>Hull, HU8 7DS</strong></p> <p>Shifts:<strong> This role will work morning shifts (6.00am - 2.00pm) and afternoon shifts (2.00pm - 10.00pm) between Monday and Friday on rotation</strong></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Your responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Perform titrations, Karl Fischer analysis, &amp; UV.</li> <li>Operate &amp; calibrate pump dispensers, Hamilton dilutors, &amp; ovens.</li> <li>Operate &amp; calibrate Chittick apparatus.</li> <li>Reagent preparation procedures &amp; best practices for volumetric glassware.</li> <li>Use of and calibration of pH meters, density meters, viscometers.</li> <li>Understand the role &amp; preparation of placebos in analytical testing.</li> <li>Understand &amp; perform organoleptic testing for product evaluation.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">The experience we're looking for</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Relevant Science degree and Strong Analytical knowledge and technical background.</li> <li>Able to assess data, determine trends, atypical results and out of specification results and carry out further investigation.</li> <li>Familiarity with Quality management systems e.g. Quality one.</li> <li>Experience within the healthcare industry particularly in a practical / analytical area working to cGMP standards. (Desirable).</li> <li>Use of Chromeleon, HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, Disintegration, UV, Rheometer.
