About the position:

Chevron invites applications for the role of SAP S4/HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) /  Quality Management (QM) Functional Analyst within global ERP organization. Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction workforce of SAP resources providing business services and solutions across the globe. We are seeking candidates experienced in managing and implementing SAP S4Hana Enterprise Asset Management & Quality Management. These teams develop and maintain SAP solutions and collaborate with different product teams. Join our team and work in an Agile environment with a primary focus on maintaining the application and optimizing evergreen support through configuration, automation, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage QM master data: inspection plans, MICs, inspection methods, ensuring alignment with checklist-driven inspection processes.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of inspection lifecycle concepts, including inspection lot, results recording, usage decision, and follow-on activities, specifically in an EAM context.

  • Collaborate with business unit teams to define inspection models and translate them into scalable QM master data solutions

  • Lead data preparation and conversion efforts, bringing inspection data from legacy systems (such as JDE or mobile inspection applications) into S/4HANA QM/EAM

  • Apply practical experience with checklist functionality or similar inspection-driven solutions in S/4HANA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science Engineering or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in supporting SAP EAM & QM, S4/HANA. 8-12 years of experience

  • Hands-on experience in Asset Management using SAP EAM & QM

  • Proficiency in SAP QM and EAM Configuration

  • Experience with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and integrations with SAP modules (e.g. MM, FI, CO etc)

  • Knowledge of ITIL based management practices, Agile Methodology.

  • Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience on SAP S4Hana in application operations support and/or project implementation within the Enterprise Asset Management function, Quality Management, SAP S4Hana, Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP EAM Extensions in application operations support and/or project implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with clients in Oil and Gas/ Manufacturing industry within the SAP EAM/QM function/domain

  • MUST have hands-on experience with S/4 HANA (at least 2-3 implementations/maintenance/support projects) in Dev/QA/Production environment

  • MUST have hands on experience on Upgrades, Add-on Installations, HANA Scale-out environment and well versed with multi-tenant Databases
