This posting is specifically for an Analyst role on the Renewables Project Finance Credit Products team in Charlotte, NC. The Analyst position within the Renewables Project Finance Credit Products team offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain both industry knowledge as well as structural financing knowledge of both Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets, which are a growing and important sector of the U.S power market.   This role will involve both new underwriting and continuous portfolio management experience for utility-scale solar and BESS projects via both tax equity and debt financing structures.  For tax equity transactions, the team underwrites and manages primarily tax equity sale leaseback financings.  Since 2016, the team has booked over 100 projects totaling in excess of $2.6BN.  These complex, highly structured, long-term transactions require a strong attention to detail and active dialogue with the project developers to ensure compliance with the deal documents.  For debt transactions, the team underwrites and manages a growing book of Solar and BESS debt deals with financing structures ranging from construction financing to back leveraged term loans to borrowing bases and warehouse facilities.  This is an active, complex portfolio and will allow a candidate to gain significant experience in a short period of time, assuming more responsibility as the candidate progresses.
