- Business Administration, Business Techology Management, Communications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Science, Management and Organization
- This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
- Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
- In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
The Mobile Portfolio Operations Intern provides essential support to the Mobile Portfolio Operations team by assisting with roadmap management, portfolio reporting, process improvement, and tools and systems administration. This position supports our recurring reporting cadence and delivery processes, while also partnering with the team on AI-driven process improvement initiatives to automate and streamline how we manage the mobile product roadmap, reporting, and delivery workflows.
- Support roadmap and reporting deliverables, including helping maintain the Mobile Product Roadmap, and assisting with the Mobile Portfolio reporting.
- Assist with project management tool administration, including building and maintaining dashboards, project schedules, and logs in our PPM tool.
- Help update and maintain the Mobile Delivery Playbook and related process documentation and support business rules management.
- Partner on AI process improvement projects, including researching and testing MCP integrations to automate report generation, exploring AI-assisted workflows for deck creation and data updates, and helping document/refine automation opportunities across the team's reporting cadence.
Required qualifications
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with Office 365 and workflow/automation tools
- Basic API understanding
- Exposure to AI integration concepts (e.g., MCP servers) a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Attention to detail is a must.
