About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Finance Administrator to support day-to-day finance operations across the business. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in finance or accounting who enjoys working with numbers, reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records while gaining experience in a start-up environment within a larger organisation.
The successful candidate will support financial reporting, budgeting processes, reconciliations, and general finance administration while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
As Doshii operates as a venture within CBA, payroll, tax obligations, and broader operational functions are managed separately and are not part of this role’s responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparation of journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting requirements to x15 Finance and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, management reporting packs, and performance summaries.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Analyse financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Assist with audit requests and preparation of audit support documentation.
Help maintain effective internal controls and financial governance processes.
Support improvements and automation of financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting processes.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting, reporting, and reconciliation queries.
Support compliance with reporting and finance obligations to CBA.
Ensure financial records and data are accurate, complete, and maintained in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
Qualification or studies in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
0–2 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, administration, or accounting support
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good numerical and reconciliation skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication and willingness to learn
Interest in technology and data
