Position Summary:Responsible for tracking project finances, analyzing budget variances, and managing billing lifecycles.  Core duties include financial tracking, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration for assigned projects. Essential Responsibilities•    Financial Tracking and Billing: Prepare client invoices, track project costs, and monitor work-in-progress (WIP) balances.•    Variance & Data Analysis: Compare actual project expenses against budgets and perform cost -to-completion evaluations.•    Bill of Materials (BOM) Tracking: Audit and analyze actual assembly costs against standard engineered BOM quotes to catch and resolve discrepancies.•    Inventory & Subassembly Costing: Monitor raw material procurement, track work-in-progress (WIP) assembly stages, and account for scrap or component waste.•    Labor & Overhead Allocation: Track shop floor assembly hours and allocating manufacturing overhead costs directly to specific custom equipment projects.•    Milestone Billing & Shipping Accounting: Manage progressive billing structures based on assembly phases, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and final equipment delivery.•    Working with projects leads to forecast cash flow, handling contract changes, and solving billing discrepancies.•    Collaboration with Project Manager, Production Manager, Supply Chain to ensure positive project progress.•    Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders, vendors and customers•    Use financial reporting and general ledger systems to support internal and external needs for reports and other information •    Performs other related duties as required    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities•    Deep familiarity with manufacturing ERPs (like SAP, NAV). •    Advanced Excel capabilities, and a strong understanding of standard costing systems.•    Proficiency with MS Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint models •    Ability to shift priorities and multi-task while meeting deadlines •    Ability to work independently and as a team member •    Ability and willingness to travel occasionally •    Strong written and oral communication skills •    Strong interpersonal skills •    Organized and detail oriented •    Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines •    Ability to work diligently with little oversight•    Ability to recognize sensitive, confidential, or material non-public information and maintain the confidentiality of such information    Education & Experience•    Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience (Accounting or Finance preferred) •    3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting or industrial project administration•    1-3 years’ experience in project management. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements•    Able to read, speak and write English. •    Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions. •    Sitting – at desk or computer station, standing, walking, speaking, hearing – frequent.•    Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting – occasional. •    Must be able to lift 30lbs. Gripping, reaching, writing, fingering (data entry), handling (paper, files, etc.) – frequent. •    Able to work under stressful conditions at times.  •    Fine Motor Skills - typing, 10-key, ability to write for extended periods of time. •    Communication - phone communication, communication with personnel and vendors.•    Seeing - able to see the computer screen.  •    Climbing - able to go up and down stairs. •    Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.     This job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and employee.
