The Opportunity McElhanney is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This position is a full-time 12-month parental leave coverage contract commencing August 2026 until August 2027 with the possibility to extend. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support our Finance and Accounting department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have well-rounded accounting experience.  What You’ll Do Enter payment applications. Enter Accounts Receivables debit and credit memos. Enter cash transactions. Daily bank reconciliation. Manage AR inbox and respond to AR inquiries. Work with the billing team on AR follow up and updates. Other responsibilities as required. What You’ll Bring 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role with post-secondary training in accounting. Knowledge of accounting processes. Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) Good customer and communication skills – written and verbal. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a must. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. An analytical mind, good number sense and the ability to learn new accounting software quickly (Microsoft Dynamics SL) Ability to work independently and take initiative, and to function effectively without continuous direction. What Can We Offer You? The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting.
