Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Analyst in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office – SOF Warrior (PEO-SW).

 

PEO-SW enables Special Operations Forces by delivering and sustaining mission-critical capabilities and support to the SOF operator. Across its portfolio, PEO-SW supports rapid and responsive acquisition, contracting, and business execution to meet evolving operational requirements. The organization partners across government and industry to plan, award, and administer contracts that provide timely, compliant, and effective solutions in support of SOF missions worldwide.

 

This is a full-time position located at MacDill AFB, FL

Responsibilities

  • Determine requirements; develop goals and objectives to accomplish mission of Program Support Government counterparts to ensure execution of programs in accordance to plans, and to modify program policies and procedures based on changes to regulations.
  • Research ways to eliminate program bottlenecks and barriers to production; support Government counterparts in development of solutions to program issues. Oversee the allocation of resources based on program requirements.
  • Staff SAMP, APB, 70-1 documents for projects, combat evaluation, and studies, staffs FM worksheets for AF9 and DD448 funding, spend plan build development, market surveys, writes technical evaluations.
  • Prepare acquisition documents and procurement request packages (SOW, PWS, SOA, J&A, Technical Evaluations, ADM, SAMP, APB, FM worksheet, program protection plan, annual spend plan build, Power Point Briefings ), familiar with special access program processes, and government contracting processes.
  • Collaborates closely with user community on requirement development and execution; analyze requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibilityCertifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (DAWIA level II equivalent) and in the Program Management field, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hireEducation: Bachelor's degree in acquisitions/business or related disciplineYears of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Federal government acquisitions
