Actuarial Valuation
Position Responsibilities:
Core Analytics & Process Enhancement
Develop, maintain, and enhance data processing and analytical tools to support experience monitoring, experience studies, and medical repricing activities.
Support the migration of actuarial models, reports, and analytical processes from Excel-based solutions to Power BI, Python, SQL, or other scalable analytics platforms.
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve actuarial processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations to support experience monitoring and management decision-making.
Data Management & Controls
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks across various actuarial data sources.
Enhance and maintain process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks to improve reliability and auditability of analytical outputs.
Investigate data anomalies and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve data issues
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
Progressing toward actuarial qualification
Strong Excel skills.
Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or other analytics tools preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to independently develop analytics solutions and process improvements
Experience leading data analytics or automation initiatives.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
