Job Purpose

This is a newly created position and part of a new development capability being established within the China & Mongolia AG Precision Technology organisation.

The intent is to build a key development function that will support global product development, while leveraging:

The fast development pace in China
Strong local engineering capability

This role will contribute directly to global programs, working with international development teams and stakeholders. While the role is based in China, its impact and exposure are global.

As this is a new position within a new and growing team, there is significant scope for growth, influence, and career progression over time.

Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on off‑board systems integration, including:

Software integration
Digital solutions (mobile apps and web platforms)
Data platforms and analytics

The role acts as a bridge between vehicles, digital platforms, and data, supporting both factory‑fit (OEM) and aftermarket precision agriculture solutions.

Basic understanding of agriculture and precision farming concepts

Enough to understand project scope and use cases
Enough to work effectively with engineers and product teams

Does not need to be an agronomy expert, but must be curious and willing to learn

Technical Background (Guidance for Screening)

Experience with:

Software systems integration
Digital platforms (apps, web, cloud)
Data or analytics systems (at least at a system‑integration level)

Experience integrating different systems or teams rather than working in isolation
Exposure to industrial, automotive, off‑highway, IoT, or agriculture systems is advantageous
