What Youâll Do
Apply AI to Store Operations problems by partnering with Store Ops, Business Analysis, and crossâfunctional teams to identify highâvalue use cases for Copilot and other approved AI tools (e.g., task prioritization, performance signals, execution tracking, insight generation).
Design and test missionâbased workflows that connect enterprise priorities to frontline execution, supporting automated prompts, insights, and performance feedback loops for store leaders and teams.
Develop prototype performance frameworks that integrate data, objectives, and behavioursâtranslating strategy into simple, operationally relevant guidance for stores, with a roadmap toward scalable automation.
Enable decisionâmaking and execution by translating AIâenabled insights into prompts, priorities, and actions for Store Ops leaders and frontline teams (not static dashboards or recurring reports).
Document learnings and recommendations from pilots and trials, including adoption barriers, change management considerations, and opportunities to further embed AI into Store Operations rhythms.
Operate within responsible AI guidelines, ensuring tools are applied ethically, transparently, and in alignment with enterprise Copilot governance and training standards.
What You Bring
Undergraduate degree (or near completion) in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problemâsolving mindset, with the ability to translate data, insights, and priorities into clear, practical actions.
Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, with demonstrated interest or early experience using Copilot or AIâassisted productivity tools.
Curiosity for how technology, behaviour, and performance intersect in a frontline retail environment.
Ability to work in ambiguity, supporting testâandâlearn pilots while maintaining structure, documentation, and followâthrough.
Clear written and verbal communication skills suited for both operational partners and senior leadership audiences.
What Makes This Role Unique
This role blends analytics, product thinking, and change enablementâit is intentionally handsâon, experimental, and executionâfocused, rather than a traditional business intelligence or reporting role.
Handsâon exposure to applied AI in retail Store Operations, not theoretical or experimental work.
Direct involvement in shaping how performance management and execution discipline evolve at Markâs.
Opportunity to influence future enterprise tooling and capability decisions through grounded, realâworld pilots.
High visibility with senior Store Operations leadership during a defined, outcomeâoriented contract period.
