Job Description

  • Challenge yourself to support Cabin Crew readiness across Qantas’ major aircraft renewal programs
  • Together we’ll contribute to Project Sunrise and other fleet renewal initiatives 
  • 18-month Contract based at our Head Office in Mascot

Key Accountabilities

This is a unique opportunity to work across some of Qantas’ most exciting aircraft programs, including Project Sunrise and Fysh and other fleet renewal initiatives, supporting Cabin Crew readiness as new and reconfigured aircraft are introduced into the operation. The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile programs and the opportunity to build strong program management, governance and stakeholder coordination capability. 

As the Analyst Aircraft Programs, you will be responsible for supporting Cabin Crew's contribution to Qantas' aircraft renewal program, coordinating governance activities, tracking program delivery, managing risks, issues and dependencies, and supporting Entry into Service readiness across multiple aircraft programs.  You will provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making on key fleet initiatives and investments, and prepare documentation for Steering Committees, Business Cases and Employee Consultations. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders across Cabin Crew, Engineering, Customer Experience, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, Safety and Policy as well as engagement with external stakeholders such as Boeing and Airbus. You will play a key role in ensuring Cabin Crew requirements are understood, progressed and successfully delivered. 

You’ll have:  

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and drive actions to completion across multiple workstreams. 
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to track project milestones, risks, issues, actions and dependencies across multiple workstreams. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster effective relationships  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and consultation materials  
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information and data into clear insights, recommendations and reporting for stakeholders 
  • Ability to undertake analysis and develop business case inputs to support strategic decision-making and investment initiatives. 
  • Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering outcomes.
