Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.
Our operation is based in Peoria, IL and supports CAT in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support material flow and replenishment plans, ensuring production requirements are met without interruption.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support customer demand while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
- Analyze inventory performance, identify discrepancies, and investigate customer-reported defects related to inventory management.
- Support forecasting and planning activities to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Utilize SAP, EWM, and Microsoft Excel to analyze inventory, production, and supply chain data.
- Monitor daily KPI performance, productivity metrics, inventory accuracy, and SOP compliance.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to resolve inventory, supply chain, and operational issues.
- Prepare and distribute reports related to inventory performance, supply chain metrics, production schedules, cost analysis, and operational discrepancies.
- Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and customer, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the customer and/or leadership team.
Candidate Qualifications
Experience in transportation, logistics, or a distribution‑center environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Moderate proficiency with office‑based software.
Able to maintain a standard 40‑hour workweek while working a flexible schedule when needed.
Associate’s Degree preferred but not required.
