Analyst, Business Intelligence
Overview
Reporting to the Asset Manager, Business Intelligence Analytics, the BI Analyst will demonstrate strong knowledge of performance indicators and deliver actionable data and key business insights to the Diversified Healthcare Trust and Service Properties Trust REITs of The RMR Group.
We are looking for a self-driven, innovative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces AI and delivers lasting solutions for complex problems. The individual will collaborate with cross functional teams of Asset Management, Capital, Accounting, Information Technology and Investor Relations to integrate real estate strategies with data analytics to maintain data governance oversight, data integrity management and support ongoing operations of a national portfolio of senior living and hotel properties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing BI dashboards and standard reports;ensure data accuracy
- Maintain master data management of Operator chart of accounts and maintain data integrity of the MDM
- Build control dashboard to ensure data integrity in key semantic models as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
- Build AI driven Power BI dashboards for insights from root cause analysis of key performance metrics for active asset management
- Train cross functional teams for self-service capabilities leveraging integrated semantic models and MS office suite tools including copilot
- Automate and maintain standard financial, operating, and KPI reports to streamline weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables
- Collaborate with Operators and Market Vendor Partners to continue expansion of critical digital data assets and integration within existing systems for end user access
- Track property-level and portfolio-wide goals, performance indicators, and long-term project status
- Deliver timely meeting materials for quarterly financial reporting, board presentation and investor relations preparations
- Assist in various REIT financial models for investment decisions
- Identify tasks for AI automation and enable AI adoption across teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Information Systems, data analytics or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in asset management, real estate analytics, or BI/data roles
- Familiarity using AI tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of key performance drivers in Senior Living Industry
- Other desirable sector/industry knowledge include hospitality or real estate
- Proficiency in SQL and navigating structured database systems
- Possess strong skills in Excel and BI visualization tools, preferably Power BI
- Keen interest in learning new tools, including python
- Organizational and project management skills to manage projects effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including data visualization to present complex data analysis; outstanding interpersonal skills; and ability to relate positively with individuals at all levels of the organization

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $92,000 to $112,000 per year. RMR considers several components including an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market data.
