As part of the Commercial Banking business, we are focussed on meeting the needs of small to medium enterprises typically with an annual turnover of up to $30 million along with an aggregated commercial debt of up to $10 million.

Our clients' businesses span a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, property and professional services through to health and not for profit. We place our customers at the centre of everything we do in an effort to recommend the best outcome for their specific needs, utilising the comprehensive range of products and services like transaction banking, cash flow, capital, wealth, risk management and trade finance.
 

Your impact.
As an Analyst, you will be a key member of the Relationship Management team. You will provide research support and analysis and develop an extensive database of client and industry specific information, ideas and solutions that will serve to build trust and strengthen relationships with our clients.

This role will also:

• Undertake financial modelling and analysis to assess risks and opportunities across new lending and existing client relationships.

• Support sophisticated Commercial Banking clients, contributing to an ambition of being number one in client satisfaction through high‑quality analysis and support on complex deals.

• Prepare clear, well‑structured credit risk submissions and papers that support sound commercial and credit decisions.

• Collaborate closely with relationship managers and product specialists to shape and deliver customer‑centric transaction and lending solutions.

• Monitor portfolio performance, complete reporting, and contribute insights that strengthen client outcomes and long‑term relationships.

What are we looking for?

• Exposure to commercial and/or business banking or professional services environments, contributing to credit transactions, annual reviews and portfolio reporting.

• Strong capability in analysing financial information including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, loan structures and securities, and preparing clear credit documentation.

• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, deadline‑driven environment, communicating confidently with stakeholders at different levels across the business.

• Degree or study in finance or accounting is highly aligned to the role.
