Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor the global commodities and emissions markets, including trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain financial models to price and value commodities and emissions-related derivatives
• Assist in the structuring and execution of complex commodities and emissions-related transactions
• Collaborate with the sales and trading teams to provide market insights and support client needs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's commodities and emissions-related strategies
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments in the commodities and emissions markets
• Perform ad-hoc research and analysis as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Relevant experience in commodities, emissions, or derivatives trading, preferably in a financial institution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex financial models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of financial analysis software and tools, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel
• Demonstrated interest and understanding of the global commodities and emissions markets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
