The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. You will model major OEM demand at the SKU level and maintain a rigorous record of the assumptions, drivers, and changes behind every forecast. Maintain a rigorous, auditable record of forecast assumptions, drivers, model changes, and revisions - so any number can be traced back to its inputs.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Maintain detailed SKU-level records for OEMs: shipment patterns, mix shifts, generation transitions, and customer-specific dynamics.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Use Python (or equivalent) to automate and streamline recurring analytical work across the forecasting team and adjacent commercial functions.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Apply advanced techniques - statistical modeling, time-series methods, machine-learning where appropriate - to improve forecast accuracy and decision support.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Analyze historical shipment data, market trends, and customer signals to surface patterns that inform forecasting models.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, PLMs, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to validate assumptions and incorporate market intelligence.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Monitor and evaluate forecast accuracy;
