Analyst โ Development
As the Integration Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Catalyst operations and technology teams in maintaining and evolving the firmโs system integrations and automation infrastructure. You will play an important role in monitoring live integrations, resolving data flow failures, contributing to process automation within Azure, and maintaining technical documentation for existing connections. The position requires working knowledge of REST APIs, corporate file transfer protocols, and programming logic in SQL and C#. You are expected to actively leverage AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and support day-to-day problem solving. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients on technical requests, translating operational requirements into practical integration solutions.

Your Daily Tasks
The following are the tasks linked to the Core Responsibilities that will be expected as part of this role:
1. System Integration Monitoring & Support
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Integration Monitoring: Monitor live system integrations across the Catalyst platform, proactively identifying connection degradations before they impact downstream operations.
- Alerting & Escalation: Act as first line of response for integration alerts, triaging issues, communicating status to stakeholders, and escalating where required.
- API Connectivity: Support the monitoring of REST API connections to external platforms including exchanges, custodians, and data providers.
- File Transfer Oversight: Monitor FTP/SFTP and managed file transfer pipelines, ensuring scheduled data deliveries execute reliably and completely.
- IT Office Support: Provide basic IT setup and user support as needed in the office
2. Failure Identification & Resolution
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose failures in API connections, automated pipelines, and data flows, tracing issues to their root cause and documenting findings.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve integration failures in a timely manner, working with internal technical teams and external counterparties as required.
- Incident Logging: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and workarounds to support knowledge transfer and recurring issue prevention.
3. Process Automation within Azure
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Automation Contribution: Contribute to the design and implementation of automated workflows within Microsoft Azure, reducing manual touchpoints across investment operations.
- Azure Services: Work with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and related services to build or maintain integration and automation solutions.
- Process Identification: Identify operational processes that are candidates for automation and propose practical solutions aligned with existing infrastructure.
4. Technical Documentation
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and expand the technical documentation library for existing integrations, including runbooks, data flow maps, and configuration records.
- Handover Notes: Keep handover documentation current to ensure continuity across the team and support onboarding of new team members.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that documentation standards are applied consistently across all integration workstreams.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams & Clients
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with operations, data, and reporting teams to understand integration requirements and ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Client-Facing Support: Interact directly with clients on technical requests relating to their connections and data feeds, providing clear and responsive communication.
- Requirements Translation: Translate operational and client requirements into integration specifications that can be implemented or escalated to senior developers.
6. Development Best Practices & Continuous Improvement
Includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code in SQL and C#, following team standards for version control and peer review.
- AI-Assisted Development: Actively use AI development tools โ such as GitHub Copilot and Claude โ to accelerate problem solving, improve code quality, and reduce resolution time on integration issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality across the Catalyst platform.
- Tooling Awareness: Stay current on relevant Azure services, API patterns, and automation tooling โ including emerging AI capabilities โ to contribute informed input to the team's technical direction.
Required Skills & Experience:
Are you getting excited? We are! Before we get too carried away, there are a few requirements youโll need to check off before you can apply for the position: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1โ3 years of experience in system integration, data engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Microsoft Azure โ basic to intermediate proficiency, including familiarity with Logic Apps, Function Apps, or equivalent integration services.
- REST APIs & data integration โ able to read API specifications, handle authentication flows, and trace request/response cycles independently.
- FTP and corporate file transfer โ hands-on experience configuring and monitoring SFTP or managed file transfer pipelines.
- SQL and C# โ able to write and troubleshoot queries and read or adapt existing code within a .NET/C# codebase; Python is a plus.
- Fluent English โ written and spoken, for direct client interaction and cross-team communication across a global organization.
- Experience with AI tools for programming โ active use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Replit, Claude, or similar to support development, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve code quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
- Exposure to financial services or fund administration environments.
