Position Summary: The ERM Analyst will play an active role in supporting the Company’s risk management frameworks across focused on risk appetite, risk assessments, key risk indicators, control testing, and issues management. The role will ensure that the company appropriately prioritizes, manages, and monitors risk by collaborating with several departments and defining risk ownership. A successful candidate will contribute to the Risk Management program by bringing experience and first-hand knowledge to the enhancement and ongoing execution of the ERM program. 

Qualifications Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in risk management, business administration, computer science, engineering, finance, or a related area   

  • 2+ years’ experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management areas, preferably in the financial services industry. 

  • Great problem solver with an analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills and demonstrated passion for data 

  • Ability and eagerness to understand (at a high level) existing and emerging technologies 

  • Ability to understand management objectives, risk appetite, tolerances, and impact of changes to risk profiles. 

  • Ability to work independently and proactively Collaborative, innovative, resourceful, results oriented, with appropriate judgment 

Qualifications desired:  

  • Experience in Operational or Enterprise Risk Management 

  • Experience in Payments and/or banking related fields, including Payments or Banking Technology 

  • Understanding of the financial regulatory environment for the banking industry and payment systems space 

  • Experience with system implementation(s) or system migrations 

  • Experience with Issues Management processes 

  • Experience with Agile, Operational Excellence certification 

  • RSA Archer or other GRC experience 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for supporting  the design, development, implementation, and execution of the Company’s risk management frameworks to effectively identify, measure, monitor, and control enterprise-wide risks. 

  • Contribute to the evolution of the Company’s risk appetite statements and associated frameworks. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the design and build of enhanced workflows across RCSA, issues, and reporting as part of Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) uplift efforts. 

  • Participate in the monitoring and  analysis of risks within the Company's business units and report on these risks to the internal and external risk committees of the Company, supervisors and other applicable internal stakeholders. 

  • Contribute to the creation and maintaining of policies, procedures, and other relevant documentation.

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. 

Employees in this position will report to the office 3 days per week.  

Occasional travel may be required. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.
