The Royal Caribbean Group’s Newbuild Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Financial Analyst to the Newbuild Finance Senior Manager. The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida. The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship. Position Summary: This role offers the chance to work in a highly dynamic and innovative environment by providing critical financial support to RCG’s cutting-edge Newbuild and Innovation Organization. The finance team is responsible for actively managing costs of the newbuild portfolio approximately $30B on a rolling 5-year cycle related to current and future projects. The finance team supports the Newbuild and Innovation Organization by providing support to its operational and strategic processes and plays a critical role in fostering strong relationships with the shipyards. The finance team collaborates closely with the project and operational leaders to manage the project financials, risk, and opportunities. Additionally, the finance team is responsible for maintaining effective financial processes and controls across projects and creating and delivering effective financial reports that enable timely decision making and are compliant with RCG’s procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul style="margin-top:3.0pt;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Updates the financial management and cost tracking of the Vessel Revitalization budget, covering both Turnkey and Owner supplied scope.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Participate in meetings with key project and operational leaders to review budget status, monitor scope commitments, and escalate potential risks promptly.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Maintain and continuously update all financial trackers and budget documents to reflect the most current forecasts.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Supports the identification, tracking, and management of risk items, ensuring items are addressed in each financial meeting with the project teams.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Work closely with the subject-matter experts to update and refine the current forecast, finalize budget change requests, and prepare corporate memo’s for capital requests and amendments.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Assist the Lead/Finance Manager in creating financial presentations for monthly project team meetings, Oversight meetings, and Executive Committee meetings.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Prepare and submit to Manager necessary journal entries to ensure compliance with company policies</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Update the monthly capex file, managing the forecasting process for assigned ship(s), and providing variance explanations to the Capital Planning team.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Support quarterly internal and external audit processes by preparing and providing required financial data.</li> <li style="margin:3.0pt 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Aids in all ad-hoc financial analysis request within the department</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Financial Control of Vessel Construction costs, Revitalizations and projects. The active portfolio is approximately $30B on a rolling 5-year cycle.</li> </ul> Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="text-align:justify;margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
