Analyst, HR Workday Reporting

Location: Mumbai (Powai) 

PayGrade: PG50

Overview

General Mills is seeking a highly skilled Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This crucial role requires expertise in Workday reporting, familiarity with using Prism data sources, and adherence to reporting governance standards. The successful candidate will leverage their deep understanding of Workday and other HR systems to create valuable reporting solutions for HR and business users, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Strong analytical, visualization, and governance skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and Prism data sources.
  • Translate business requirements into reporting solutions with timely and accurate delivery.
  • Improve reporting processes, data visualization, and dashboard effectiveness.
  • Ensure data accuracy through testing, validation, and governance controls.
  • Provide workforce data insights and consultative support to HR and business teams.
  • Support and learn VNDLY reporting for contingent workforce reporting.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain reporting governance standards, data definitions, and reporting documentation.
  • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance across systems.
  • Manage inventory and documentation of reports and dashboards.
  • Deliver governance and reporting-related training to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Support

  • Mentor junior analysts and support reporting capability building.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on reporting enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Stay updated on trends and technologies in reporting and analytics.

Desired Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in HR reporting or analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Workday Reporting, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Prism.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, macros), ServiceNow, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience gathering requirements and delivering reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of Workday security and data access controls.
