</div><div><p>Job Summary<br>Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) is a corporate IT functional organization<br>which is focusing on defining and establishing a landscape of integrated<br>engineering systems with an understanding of how our businesses designs,<br>manufactures and introduces new products and how they should be managed<br>throughout their lifecycle.<br>DES is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our IT department. Starting<br>out, this role will be an IT consultant and partner to the engineering organization<br>to manage the Project Management and Product Compliance systems. Going<br>forward, this role will also consult and partner with key users to optimize the<br>solutions that drive business value and transfer the knowledge to the service<br>team for production support.<br>This is a growth-oriented position for an individual with expertise on Planisware<br>tools and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems who is eager to learn, has<br>the poise to lead and with effective decision-making skills. The position requires<br>the desire and ability to set, drive and manage the strategy while working directly<br>with the business to both design the system landscape and bring proper business<br>value across the organization.<br>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other<br>duties may be assigned.<br>· Collects and analyzes business requirements to determine Planisware replacing a<br>local project management tool, working with engineering organization and IT<br>architecture & deployment team.<br>· Consults with IT teams and business unit engineering teams to evaluate PLM<br>tools and systems.<br>· Define solutions and manage development teams or software vendors to develop<br>or establish the systems.<br>· Develop and direct system evaluations, testing procedures, programming, and<br>documentation.<br>· Lead business unit engineering teams through UAT testing and gathering<br>feedback.<br>· Manage operational and performance requirements of overall system.<br>· Consult with customers concerning troubleshooting of systems in the field.<br>· Manage the relationship with software vendors to drive software capabilities that<br>increase the value for engineering teams.<br>Required Qualifications<br>· 5 or more years of experience working with PLM software, preferably in electrical<br>connector industry.<br>· Proven experience in a business analyst role or similar experience in a business<br>setting.<br>· Proven experience in PMP role and equivalent role.<br>· Understanding of engineering processes in general and product lifecycle<br>management at a technical and business level.<br>· Knowledge to manage product design data flow, preferable experience in<br>Systems Engineering.<br>· High performer who wants challenges and is not afraid to take risks<br>· Excellent communication skills across IT and engineering organizations at all<br>levels.<br>Preferred Qualifications<br>· Knowledge of mechanical development processes and integrated tool chains<br>· Knowledge of Product Data Management tools<br>· Knowledge of IT architecture skills<br>EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE<br>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Master’s<br>Degree Preferred; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or<br>equivalent combination of education and experience.<br>Language Skills<br>Strong English communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to read and<br>understand technical documents, clearly document technical concepts in written<br>material in English and produce marketing documents. Ability to present the<br>above technical subjects to all levels of IT and engineering organizations at TE.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2>
