The role contributes to information security projects across the company, helping to manage risks, design and implement controls, and promote a strong security culture. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the development and continuous improvement of SES’s Information Security Management System in line with ISO 27001 and industry best practices.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Identify, assess, and track information security risks, supporting mitigation and control implementation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support compliance with SES’s information security policies, standards, and procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Contribute to the definition and execution of SES’s information security strategy and roadmap.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Design, implement, and document information security concepts and controls in collaboration with business and engineering teams.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct information security audits and vulnerability assessments; assist in vulnerability management activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the detection, analysis, and response to information security incidents.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Contribute to the design and delivery of SES’s security awareness and training initiatives.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide clear and actionable recommendations on information security across systems, networks, and applications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Travel as required</li> </ul> COMPETENCIES <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong project management and organizational skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to explain complex security topics to non-technical audiences.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to implementation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently when required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across different levels and functions.</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field, with up to 3 years of relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">NATO nationality required; EU nationality preferred. Willingness to undergo security clearance if needed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understanding of key information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST SP 800-53).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Knowledge of risk management, network and system security, and security architecture principles.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Awareness of cloud security, data protection, and vulnerability management practices.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, CISA, CISSP) and/or experience in the satellite or telecommunications industry are considered a plus.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Consulting experience is an advantage.</li> </ul> Embark on a career with us, where diversity isn't just a buzzword – it's our driving force.
