Responsible for providing operational support on daily transactions of the departments under JCBD to enable the effective operation and development of customer relationships.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
Regular contacts with customers of the departments under JCBD to handle their transactions to maintain and develop business relationship.
Work in partnership with relationship managers in handling of customer transactions and customer diligence as the 1st line of defense.
Work in partnership with operations departments, AGMD and CAD related to processing of customer transactions and consultation on rules and procedures.
Work in partnership with FCOA to consult, monitor and process customers’ transactions.
Handle customer transaction instructions and enquiries in a timely and orderly manner.
Communicate with customers and operations departments to ensure the completion of customers’ transactions efficiently and accurately.
Follow up pending items by contacting customers regularly in order to settle the pending items in a timely manner to avoid long pending.
Prepare control sheet for unprocessed documents and follow up the settlement in a timely manner.
As the 1st line of defense and for transaction monitoring purpose, prepare AML related reports and relevant documents to understand the transactions and ensure that they are in compliance with internal and regulatory AML and sanctions requirements and submitted by
deadline set by FCOA.
Prepare instruction memos and documents related to customer transactions and circulate in a timely manner for approval so that transactions can be processed without delay.
Control and monitor some tasks of the team as assigned by DH and Team Head, like pending item control, unprocessed documents control, CML control, etc.initiate proposals for continuous improvement, enhance operation control and efficiency.
Support the implementation and delivery of improvement initiatives for JCBD according to the predetermined schedule.
Maintain good working knowledge of procedure changes, product developments, relevant rules and regulations.
Adhere to all Bank’s policies as well as guidelines. Regular contacts with customers of JCBD to handle customer transaction instructions and enquiries
Job Requirements:
Good experience in administration and operational support.
Experience and knowledge in MUFG rules and operation procedures.
Good knowledge in AML, sanctions and compliance requirements related to operation.
Japanese speaking is required due to liaising with internal and external stakeholders who speaks Japanese.
Quantitative and numeracy skills.
Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.
At least 1+ years of relevant experience, but not mandatory.
