Key Responsibilities

Material Planning & Supply Assurance

Plan and manage supply of direct materials, substrate, and components to meet production and customer demand.

Translate forecast, build plans, and demand signals into material requirement and execution strategies.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and buffer strategies

NPI Planning

Lead material planning activities for NPI programs, ensuring readiness for qualification, pilot, and ramp phases.

Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project manager to ensure material readiness, initial BOM set up, and support qualification builds.

Drive smooth transition from NPI to mass production with clear supply continuity.

OSAT Coordination

Serve as the primary planning interface with OSAT partners

Manage consigned materials and ensure alignment with OSAT build schedules.

Track material consumption, WIP, and inventory at OSAT sites.

Risk Management & Mitigation

Proactively identify potential supply chain risks (supplier constraints, long lead items, demand volatility).

Provide early warning signals and drive preventive actions to avoid production disruption.

Track and manage critical material exposure and escalation cases.

Advanced Data Analytics

Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across planning systems.

Process Improvement & Automation

Identify and drive process improvements in planning workflows and reporting.

Implement automation solutions (Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools, SQL models) to enhance efficiency.

Support standardization across sites and OSAT ecosystems.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field. 5 years and above of experience in material planning / supply chain / semiconductor manufacturing.

Technical & Analytical Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with ability to handle complex datasets and BOM structures. Demonstrated ability to use digital tools, automation, and AI-assisted solutions to improve planning outcomes. Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business decisions.
