Analyst, Reconciliation & Controls - SLC Management
The Analyst, Reconciliation & Controls is an entry-level position responsible for supporting reconciliation processes and control measures within Trade Operations for SLC Management. This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational integrity and ensuring accurate reconciliations.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in investment operations, specifically in reconciliation and controls. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in maintaining operational integrity and supporting the overall control environment within SLC Management.
What will you do?
- Identify issues in data and processes related to reconciliations and controls
- Propose basic solutions to operational challenges in the reconciliation process
- Prepare accurate reports on reconciliation activities
- Complete assigned reconciliation tasks efficiently
- Recognize basic connections between reconciliation operations and business goals
- Communicate issues to immediate team members
- Assist in troubleshooting basic reconciliation issues
- Identify discrepancies in financial data during reconciliation processes
- Support process improvement initiatives for reconciliation and control processes
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in investment operations, reconciliations, or a related area.
- Foundational understanding of investment operations, reconciliation processes, and their impact on business objectives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to identify issues and assist in resolving operational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate reports and clearly communicate findings and issues to team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing assigned responsibilities and meeting performance expectations.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to team goals.
- Eagerness to learn, develop technical expertise, and grow within the reconciliation and controls function.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of financial instruments and investment products
- Familiarity with reconciliation software and control monitoring tools
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
Unique Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours during peak reconciliation periods (e.g., month-end, quarter-end)
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing processes in reconciliation and controls
- Commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

58,000/58 000 - 93,000/93 000We are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this role is competitive and we strive to ensure that compensation is fair and equitable. Your actual base salary will be determined by your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location.
