The Analyst Relations Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with industry analyst firms, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other key influencers. This individual contributor role serves as the primary liaison between Fortra and the analyst community, helping to strengthen analyst relationships, increase awareness of Fortra's solutions and strategy, and improve the company's inclusion and positioning within relevant analyst research.

Working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product Management, Executive Leadership, and other cross-functional teams, the Analyst Relations Manager will develop and execute an analyst relations program that effectively communicates Fortra's market vision, product strategy, and competitive differentiation.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and execute Fortra's analyst relations strategy to strengthen relationships with key industry analyst firms.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other relevant research organizations.
  • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, product demonstrations, and executive meetings.
  • Prepare executives and subject matter experts for analyst engagements by developing messaging, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to understand product roadmaps, market positioning, and competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to communicate corporate strategy and business priorities to the analyst community.
  • Monitor analyst research, market trends, and competitive intelligence, sharing actionable insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Support analyst research participation, including Magic Quadrant®, Wave™, MarketScape, and similar evaluations, where applicable.
  • Track analyst engagement activities and measure program effectiveness through defined success metrics.
  • Partner with PR, Content, Web, and Design teams to ensure consistent external messaging across analyst-facing communications.
  • Lead the transition of analyst relations from an agency-supported model to a scalable in-house program, establishing the relationships, processes, and expertise needed for long-term success.




QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 5–8 years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Product Management, Corporate Communications, or a related B2B technology function.
  • Experience working with major industry analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or similar organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive and analyst audiences.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience within enterprise software, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
  • Experience supporting analyst evaluations such as Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, or IDC MarketScape.
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence and market research methodologies.

This position requires proficiency in English to interact, support and/or provide services to non-French speaking customers, employees and/or partners inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.

Expected Compensation: C$80,000 - C$100,000
