The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels.  The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. Within USCM, the Marketing, Membership & Investment Optimization (MMIO) delivers data-driven decision making, analytics & business planning to drive profitable growth through personalization strategy and optimized investment decisions.

The Analyst/ Senior Analyst, Gambit Personalization & Offer Strategy, as part of the MMIO team, will be responsible for driving data powered personalization strategies to drive profitable and efficient new prospect acquisitions for US consumer business. The role will be responsible for developing personalized offer strategy leaning into customer experience, profitability and economics to drive to right business and customer outcomes. 

This role is uniquely positioned to leverage a variety of skills including strategy, complex problem solving, data insights & testing, and partner collaboration. Building and leveraging strong relationships across Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, and other teams is essential. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual who has demonstrated sound analytical thinking, and the ability to learn new things quickly given dynamic digital landscape. 

  • Develop deep understanding of marketing ecosystem, revenue drivers and investment levers to create effective personalization strategy

  • Power in-depth strategic analysis and decision making on the back of thorough data analytics 

  • Liaison across different partners within analytics, marketing, product, finance, risk management and data science teams for bringing these strategies to life

  • Develop/practice effective operational and risk management controls to ensure it’s done the right way

  • Manage and flex strategy based on investment decisions, identify opportunities for efficient investments in collaboration with partners across the BlueBox

  • 1+ years of work experience demonstrating analytics to drive business results

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a statistics/business/economics/decision science related field - Bachelor's required, Masters Preferred

  • Functional Skills/Capabilities:

  • Analytical and problem-solving experience, with the ability to break-down a complex problem into components and coach others on how to apply the relevant quantitative analysis to answer the business question.

  • Experience in solving unstructured problems and comfort in working in white space 

  • Knowledge of card acquisition portfolio and a firm understanding of marketing and card economics
