Analytics and Intel Reporting Lead
What's the role?
As an Analytics and Intel Reporting Lead you'll play a key role in shaping how Financial Crime Surveillance uses data, intelligence and insights to stay ahead of emerging threats and strengthen our approach to financial crime detection and prevention.
You'll combine analytical thinking with a strategic mindset to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo and drive meaningful improvements across our surveillance processes.
This is more than a reporting role. You'll be at the forefront of continuous improvement, using data to uncover trends, influence decision making and support strategic change across the business. You'll partner with stakeholders across multiple teams, helping translate complex data into clear stories and actionable insights.
What do I need?
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with curiosity, commercial thinking and a drive to make things better.
You'll be comfortable working with complex data, translating insights into meaningful outcomes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to influence decision making and deliver impactful solutions.
- Strong experience using SQL and data analytics tools to extract, analyse and interpret large and complex data sets.
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R and SQL, with the ability to apply statistical analysis techniques to generate actionable insights.
- Confidence building relationships and liaising with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to communicate insights, influence outcomes and support strategic decision making.
- The confidence to ask questions, challenge constructively, raise issues and share knowledge to drive better business outcomes and strengthen team capability.
