Job Description

Reporting to our Senior Martech Director, you will lead the Analytics Team within our Martech Capability. We take pride in our work with some of the largest advertisers in APAC, setting us apart in the industry.

The Analytics Director sets the measurement strategy for our enterprise clients and leads the practitioners who deliver it. You will manage a team, hold accountability for the standard of the work and the development of the people producing it, and act as the senior escalation point for critical delivery and client issues.

This is a leadership role founded on technical credibility. You will have built your career in measurement implementation and analysis, and that experience will inform the standards you set and the decisions you make. You will remain close enough to the detail to direct the work with authority, though the role is focused on strategy, client leadership and team development rather than day to day delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Strategy and technical direction

  • Own the measurement approach across the portfolio, set the technical standard the team delivers to, and determine where the practice invests ahead of client demand.

  • Define our position on the areas where the discipline is changing fastest: AI in measurement, privacy and consent, server side architecture, and the shift from platform reported performance to incrementality and modelling.

  • Develop strategic measurement roadmaps for enterprise clients that connect implementation decisions to their commercial objectives.

  • Act as the final escalation point on critical issues, engaging directly with the technical detail where a decision warrants it.

Leading the team

  • Lead and develop a team. Set clear expectations, give direct and constructive feedback, and apply a consistent standard across the team.

  • Own career progression. Understand what each person is working towards, create the opportunities that stretch them, and build promotion cases that withstand scrutiny.

  • Own the capability plan for the practice: identify the skills gaps, determine the training that closes them, and assess whether that training has changed how the team works.

  • Direct the team across digital analytics, modern measurement and data analysis, allocating people to work that serves both the client and their development.

  • Coach the team to plan and own their own workloads, and intervene where delivery pressure puts quality or the team at risk.

Client leadership

  • Hold the senior client relationships across the portfolio and act as the principal point of contact for marketing leadership.

  • Lead client workshops and executive level conversations, presenting complex measurement clearly to audiences who are not specialists.

  • Identify and drive client expansion across our Martech capability, including server side GTM, conversions API, enhanced conversions, consent mode, value based bidding, online to offline measurement, dashboarding, data monitoring, privacy assessment and advanced measurement consulting.

Modern measurement

  • Set the measurement approach across the portfolio and determine when a client question is best answered by platform attribution, incrementality or geo testing, causal analysis, or marketing mix modelling.

  • Maintain measurement integrity where platform reported results overstate performance, and ensure clients receive an objective assessment.

  • Direct the analysis agenda, defining what the practice should be asking of the data rather than responding only to what has been requested.

AI and agentic technology

  • Own our position on AI in measurement, including how automated and agentic buying has changed the role of analytics, and why signal quality, conversion value accuracy and clean first party data now matter more than channel level optimisation.

  • Own how we measure and report AI search and assistant driven discovery, including brand visibility in AI generated answers through our proprietary measurement.

  • Set the governance for AI use in delivery: which tools client data may enter, what requires human review before it ships, and how we communicate the limitations of an AI generated insight to clients.

  • Hold credible conversations on agentic solutions in data and analytics, with our cloud team, with partners and with clients. You will not be expected to build agents, but you will need to understand what they do, what they require to work, and how to shape a plan around them.

  • Bring judgement to where an agent is the right answer and where a conventional solution serves the client better.

Privacy and data governance

  • Own our privacy position across the portfolio, covering consent, first party identity and the practical effects of signal loss on measurement.

  • Engage credibly with client legal and privacy stakeholders, and ensure our solutions withstand their review.

Commercial

  • Maintain a close working understanding of the team's commercial position, including revenue, profitability, revenue per head and billability, and know where it stands at any given point.

  • Own renewals across the portfolio, including GA360 licences, and drive sustainable project profitability and resource efficiency.

  • Contribute to pitches and new business, own project scoping at portfolio level, and help develop technical partnerships.

Profile of the practice

  • Build a portfolio of case studies aligned to industry verticals such as CPG, retail, automotive, healthcare and finance, demonstrating our capability and supporting new business.

  • Create original thought leadership that puts our expertise in front of clients, partners and prospects, and represent the practice externally.

Qualifications

  • A career built in digital analytics and measurement implementation, with the technical depth to interrogate solution design, assess quality and challenge a recommendation.

  • At least five years in a leadership role, including experience managing managers and developing people into more senior positions.

  • Deep expertise across the Google stack, including GA4 and GA360, Google Tag Manager including server side, and Google Cloud, together with the judgement to recognise when an alternative platform is the better answer.

  • A working understanding of SQL, JavaScript and visualisation tools such as Looker, sufficient to direct the work and assess its quality.

  • Experience setting measurement strategy across digital and non digital media, including incrementality testing and marketing mix modelling, and presenting it to executive audiences.

  • A clear and current point of view on AI in measurement, covering its effect on media buying, its application in delivery, and how assistant driven discovery is measured.

  • An informed view of agentic technology in data and analytics, sufficient to shape a solution alongside technical specialists and to advise a client on where an agent adds value.

  • Commercial fluency at portfolio level, including how revenue, profitability, resourcing and billability decisions are made and what drives them.

  • Business development and commercial acumen, including pitching, scoping, partnerships and senior stakeholder management.

  • A client focused approach, with the interpersonal skills to build relationships that endure beyond individual projects.

Nice to have

  • Experience across multiple markets or with global enterprise accounts.

  • An established profile in the measurement community through speaking, writing or partner relationships.

Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees. If you want to join our collaborative team, we invite you to apply today with your resume in English.
