Our work spans the entire data lifecycle, from building robust pipelines and Data Vault models to delivering clean dbt datasets, creating reports using Tableau and Hex, and partnering with business stakeholders to solve complex analytical problems and help drive key business decisions. You will join a collaborative team of 6 data professionals based in Berlin.   WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING <ul> <li>Build, maintain, and optimize reliable data pipelines and transformation models using dbt and Dagster.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analysts to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.</li> <li>Contribute to our centralized reporting models and framework, working with Data Vault principles.</li> <li>Design and deliver high-quality, intuitive reports and analyses in Tableau or Hex to help drive key business decisions.</li> <li>Ensure data reliability, performance, and quality across our transformation layers through robust testing and documentation.</li> <li>Take an active part in team decisions regarding technical best practices, goals, timelines, and our modern stack.</li> </ul>   OUR TECH STACK <ul> <li>Platform: AWS (S3, Redshift, Aurora, Glue, DMS, EC2, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, etc.)</li> <li>Transformation & Orchestration: dbt, Dagster, Python</li> <li>Data Ingestion & Streaming: SNS, SQS, Segment, Kinesis</li> <li>DataOps & Infrastructure: Terraform, Docker, Github</li> <li>Analytics & Visualization: Tableau, Hex</li> </ul> <h4> </h4> YOUR PROFILE <ul> <li>A solution-driven mindset with strong ownership mentality, a passion for self-learning and continuous improvement</li> <li>2+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Developer, or in a similar data role.</li> <li>Strong SQL skills with the ability to write clean, optimized queries to manipulate and join complex datasets.</li> <li>Hands-on experience or solid familiarity with dbt, modular modeling, and testing.</li> <li>Experience working with BI tools, preferably Tableau and Hex.</li> <li>Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into technical solutions.</li> <li>Familiarity with leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar LLMs) to optimize and accelerate your daily coding, debugging, and documentation workflows.</li> </ul>   Nice-to-Haves: <ul> <li>Experience or familiarity with cloud data warehouses, preferably Amazon Redshift.</li> <li>Familiarity with Data Vault architecture or similar data warehousing design methodologies (such as Kimball or Inmon).</li> <li>Exposure to modern orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.</li> <li>Familiarity with modern data architecture (e.g. data lakes, data lakehouses, data mesh)</li> <li>Experience working within the FinTech or banking sectors.</li> </ul>   Don’t meet every single requirement?
