Markets Intelligence & Strategic Insights (MISI) is the business unit within the Business Office at State Street Investment Management that supports the organization in reporting & analytics, data infrastructure/quality, sales enablement as well as Strategy and Planning. The vision of the MISI team is to be an indispensable information resource to help achieve desired goals and objectives. Our mission is to use information to provide a reliable foundation for decision-making, strategy development, opportunity realization and targeted business improvements.

The Analytics Engineer, Officer will serve as a hands-on technical contributor within the Markets Intelligence and Strategic Insights team. This individual will support the development, enhancement and maintenance of Tableau dashboards, analytical reporting solutions and underlying data infrastructure that enable informed decision-making across the business. The role will contribute to ETL pipeline development, data integration, data quality activities and the delivery of scalable analytical products. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Strategy, Capital Markets, Technology and related business functions to translate business requirements into reliable data and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical products across the full analytics lifecycle, including data preparation, data modelling, dashboard development, reporting and stakeholder delivery
  • Support the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of ETL pipelines as we build out a single source of truth, helping to centralize, integrate and validate datasets within a scalable analytical infrastructure
  • Partner with business and sales teams to understand analytical requirements and develop reporting solutions that support commercial priorities, strategic planning and management decision-making
  • Develop, enhance and maintain Tableau dashboards that present business trends, performance drivers and key insights in a clear, accurate and user-friendly manner that enables decisioning
  • Perform data quality checks, validate transformation logic and support improvements to the analytical layer, escalating issues as appropriate and collaborating with upstream teams to support timely resolution
  • Document data definitions, assumptions, workflow logic and reporting methodologies to support consistency, transparency and repeatability across analytical outputs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to analytical products, including data modelling, data transformation, dashboard development and stakeholder-facing reporting
  • Practical experience building, supporting or maintaining ETL pipelines and working with structured datasets in an enterprise environment
  • Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python; familiarity with Spark, Databricks or similar technologies is beneficial
  • Experience developing Tableau dashboards or comparable business intelligence reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment

Additional requirements 

  • The position requires office presence at least 3 days per week

Minimum Salary:

zł132 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
