About Alkegen (Mandatory) – Applicants need to know difference between Service Industry and Captive Industry

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations within the O2C cycle. Cash Application, Collection’s & Exception handling. Dispute Management – Investigate and resolve billing disputes. Query Resolution – Collaborate with onshore and internal stakeholders to resolve queries effectively. Collections – Manage collections process to reduce outstanding receivables. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Reporting & Analysis

On-Account cash management & reporting Thorough understanding of the aging report, including bucketization and report generation. AR reporting and analysis to reduce the overdue and help in decision making. Clear knowledge of overdue definitions and how overdue percentages are calculated. Understand the difference between Overdue percentage and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Understand the difference between Receivables and overdue. Analyse customer payment trends to recommend credit control improvements. Monitor AR balances and drive timely collections.

Process Excellence

Take full ownership of assigned responsibilities. Manage transitions, create SOPs, and manage version controls.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve customer disputes and ensure smooth operations

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders

Skills and Attributes

1. Good communication skill.

2. Ownership for work.

3. Strong understanding of AR cycle and best practices.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in cash posting and billing.

5. High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

6. Assisting Team Lead/Manager whenever required.

7. Effectively prioritizing tasks & responsibilities while making sure all process goals, task KPIs, and deadlines are met on time.

8. Dynamic, adaptable, and open to taking on additional ad-hoc responsibilities.

9. Knowledge of financial guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliance in treasury operations. 
10. Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
11. Ability to Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations. 
 

Education:

  • B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance) or any Finance-related degree.

Work Experience:  

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant O2C / Accounts Receivable experience.

  • Strong understanding of treasury functions, cash flow management, and investment principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems; experience with treasury management systems is preferred.
