The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS to support mission-critical systems while ensuring high-quality delivery.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements.</li> <li>Ensure application reliability, performance, and scalability through rigorous testing and optimization.</li> <li>Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe environments.</li> <li>Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed systems and processes.</li> <li>Contribute to process improvements and development best practices within the team.</li> <li>Support legacy systems while ensuring seamless integration with newer technologies.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Mandatory: </strong>Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS</li> <li>Strong experience in mainframe application development and maintenance.
