We're seeking a highly organized and analytically minded Supply Chain Analyst to support high-volume product substitution execution within ADI's global semiconductor supply chain. Working alongside senior team members, you will help ensure substitution events are executed accurately and on schedule — maintaining data integrity, enabling smooth order transitions, and supporting supply continuity across a complex global network.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals with 2–5 years of experience who are eager to build deep supply chain expertise and contribute to operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

About Product Substitution In semiconductor manufacturing, products evolve as materials improve, processes change, or legacy parts are replaced by newer equivalents. Product substitution is the structured process of transitioning from one product to another while preserving customer commitments, order integrity, and supply continuity. Because these changes involve updates to process flows where customer acceptance has not yet been received, each step must be carefully coordinated to prevent premature shipment or configuration. This role supports that effort — ensuring each event is executed accurately, on time, and with full data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Substitution Execution & Data Integrity

  • Support end-to-end substitution execution by ensuring materials are correctly established and configured across all required sites and systems
  • Evaluate substitution scope by identifying impacted accounts, assessing inventory positions, and determining conversion actions required for a smooth transition
  • Validate data accuracy throughout the substitution process, ensuring customer commitment dates and order details are preserved during migrations
  • Assist with Product Change Notification (PCN) coordination and customer approval tracking to ensure substitution support required acceptances

Monitoring & Issue Resolution

  • Track active substitution events end-to-end — monitoring approval progress, order flow, and shipment completion — and flag discrepancies for timely resolution
  • Execute substitution closeout activities, ensuring all configurations are cleanly deactivated and systems are returned to a steady state
  • Assist in process mapping and documentation to standardize workflows and reduce variability
  • Support material and backlog management activities, including VMI/VMR execution tasks, to maintain supply continuity during substitution transitions

Reporting & Cross-Functional Support

  • Maintain status trackers, update dashboards, and generate progress reports to keep leadership and stakeholders informed
  • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Operations teams to ensure alignment across all phases of the substitution lifecycle
  • Provide timely data inputs and scenario analysis to support prioritization and decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain operations, data analysis, or manufacturing support
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across distributed teams

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) — material master, BOM, sales and distribution modules
  • Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing processes or supply chain operations
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools in an operational setting
  • Basic understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and product lifecycle processes
  • Problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a complex, high-tech environment
