Asst Dir, Data Products (STP)

Define and communicate product vision: Collaborates with stakeholders to shape product vision and roadmap aligned with strategic priorities and communicates it clearly across squads/teams assigned. Own the product backlog: Owns, prioritizes, and maintains the product backlog, ensuring clear, actionable user stories that drive squad execution. Drive planning and delivery: Leads quarterly and sprint planning, sets stakeholder expectations for delivery, and communicates the value delivered each iteration. Support the squad/team: Works daily with the agile team to clarify requirements, remove roadblocks, resolve issues quickly, and keep everyone aligned on strategy. Manage product health and performance: Tracks product KPIs, monitors product health and long-term viability, and evaluates feasibility, cost, and trade-offs of potential changes. Ensure compliance and alignment: Understands regulatory and compliance constraints and negotiates priorities across teams to keep execution aligned with business goals; leads customer research to inform design decisions. Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred, along with a working knowledge of risk and pricing concepts. Strong written and oral communication skills required Experience in communicating recommendations to senior business leaders preferred BA/BS, or relevant work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred MBA or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative discipline strongly preferred 5-7+ years of experience working in coding and data solutions design principles, particularly in open source tools and technology
