Business Function

Global Transaction Services (GTS) is a product division within DBS’ Institutional Banking Group (IBG). GTS is focused on the development and deployment of Cash Management (including collections, payments, liquidity management and transactional FX solutions), Documentary and Open Account Trade Finance, and Securities & Fiduciary products to the Bank’s IBG client base. GTS aspires to be recognized by clients and competitors as one of the top providers in DBS’ key markets, gaining market share through an ongoing process of efficiently matching clients’ changing business requirements with established and emerging product capabilities, and seamlessly onboarding clients onto these services. In GTS Securities & Fiduciary Services, Client Management & Implementation, you will be part of a team that provides sales and services to financial institutions, corporations, and SME customers.

Role Overview: The Sales Practice Management (SPM), Sales Analytics & Business Intelligence role is responsible for driving commercial impact through advanced sales analytics, data infrastructure setup, and enablement through dashboards across the GTS franchise.

The role partners closely with GTS Sales, Product, Finance, Data Chapter, and Technology teams to translate data into actionable sales insights, improve forecast accuracy, strengthen pipeline and utilisation outcomes, and support proactive, insight‑led origination. This role is a core enabler of disciplined, data‑led sales execution within IBG GTS Corporate Sales & Solutioning.

Regional Responsibilities

  1. Dashboards, Systems & Analytics Enablement
  • Design, build, and maintain sales dashboards covering pipelines, mandates, EBV, income realisation, utilisation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure dashboards are accurate, timely, and consistently refreshed, enabling effective decision‑making at market and regional levels.
  • Partner Technology and Data teams on system enhancements, bug fixes, and analytics use‑cases (e.g. IDW, pipeline, account planning, alerts).
  1. Sales Forecasting, Outlook & Performance Analytics
  • Drive Cash and Trade forecasting and outlook with clear assumptions, confidence levels, and tracking against actuals.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and utilisation outcomes through early‑warning indicators, alerts, and analytics‑driven insights.
  • Support management and EXCO forums with forward‑looking performance narratives on top of historical data.

3. Data Management, Acquisition & AI Solutioning

  • Work closely with Data Steward, Data Chapter, COO & Tech teams on availability of relevant sales data across various platforms, ensuring current & future needs of sales organization are well covered or appropriately planned for, and aligned with bank’s data policies
  • Coordinate with external data providers to acquire valuable market data around customer wallets and industry trends, followed by optimizing distribution to sales teams for consumption and targeted execution
  • Drive AI transformation initiatives to power Sales & Service Modernization, championing Sales Teams’ AI needs within GTS & IBG forums and ensuring resources are committed for our prioritized projects

4. Governance, Reviews & Stakeholder Engagement

 

  • Support GTS Sales EXCO, Leadership, and IBG forums with data‑backed insights and decision‑ready materials.
  • Embed EBV‑to‑income realisation methodologies and track speed‑to‑execution outcomes.
  • Partner Finance, Product, and Sales stakeholders to ensure alignment between performance metrics, budgets, and commercial priorities.

Candidate Requirements:

Key Competencies

  • High proficiency in dashboards, reporting tools, and structured analysis
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills for senior audiences
  • Detail‑oriented, disciplined, and governance‑minded
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, transformation‑driven environment

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Transaction Banking or related line of work and with 2 to 3 years in COO, Business Management, or Sales Transformation roles.
  • Experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, strategy, or sales enablement within IBG, GTS, or transaction banking.
  • Strong understanding of Cash, Trade, pipeline management, and sales performance drivers.
  • Experience working with senior sales and management stakeholders.
