Summary
The AWS Database Architect (I) will assist in the management and maintenance of our AWS environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and operate scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
Monitor and optimize AWS resources and services for performance and availability.
Maintain documentation of AWS infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
Assist in implementing security measures, including IAM policies and compliance standards.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity.
Use automation tools and scripting languages to streamline deployment processes.
Collaborate internally and externally to support application deployments in the AWS environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
1 or more years of hands-on experience managing AWS environments
3 or more years experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
3 or more years experience with basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or equivalent.
