Job Description

The Bid Manager plays a central business development role, supporting Culina’s group-wide approach to winning new business through effective bid management, market intelligence, and maintenance of the BD Excellence knowledge base. The role is responsible for coordinating high-quality, timely proposal submissions and ensuring that the business has access to the content, insight, and collateral needed to respond effectively to client opportunities.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Bid Management
    • Manage bids end-to-end from receipt of RFI documentation through to RFQ submission.
    • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content is developed, reviewed, and delivered in line with submission deadlines.
    • Support the production of proposal documents, including desktop publishing and content creation such as case studies and market insight material.
    • Manage bid submissions through a variety of client channels, including email, online portals, and procurement systems.
  • BD Excellence Knowledge Base
    • Create, maintain, and manage key facts, figures, and sales collateral for use in proposals across the Culina Group.
    • Ensure proposal documents are accurately indexed, stored, and accessible for future use.
  • Market Intelligence
    • Conduct market research to support ongoing industry trend analysis and the development of customer insight materials.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bid management.
  • Excellent project and programme management skills, with the ability to coordinate senior stakeholders and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research, and desktop publishing capability.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional proposal content.
