Billing Analyst

<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Billing Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Creating / updating the necessary billing rules (“Subscriptions”) in the appropriate Billing Platform.&nbsp; This must be done in a timely manner and always be complete before the month end billing run is undertaken.&nbsp; Activity could include the following:<br>&nbsp; <ul> <li>Updating Subscriptions for Indexation.</li> <li>Review the Revenue Rules associated with each Subscription.</li> <li>Working with Sales Operations to provide them with the AER of any renewal.</li> <li>Understand Deferred Revenue expectations.</li> <li>Reconciliation and billing of SMS volumes.<br>&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Instigate and complete the billing runs for your designated area each month end.&nbsp; In order to accomplish this, it will be essential that the individual is capable of consolidating various usage reports into a single report that can be uploaded into the Billing Platform.<br>&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with the business (Sales / Support) to evaluate the validity of a customer’s dispute on an issued invoice.&nbsp; If appropriate, raise a credit memo and reissue invoices to ensure Zeta can collect from the client monies due.<br>&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education: </strong></p> <ul> <li>MBA – Finance or any other finance degree with minimum experience of 2-3 years</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills and Experience: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written</li> <li>Working knowledge in the billing / O2C function of a Global company</li> <li>Experience of handling statutory and Internal audits including query handling, schedule preparation etc.</li> <li>Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems including Workday / NetSuite</li> </ul> <p>Basic understanding of commercials terms in Customer Agreements – for example (SOW, MSA).</p>
