Delta Specialty Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction treatment services for adults and seniors of all genders. At the inpatient level, we care for adults who have mental health disorders and substance use disorders, as well as those whose lives have been impacted by posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other effects of trauma. Our inpatient senior care program serves older adults who have been struggling with memory problems and other age-related concerns. We also offer outpatient care for adults age 18 and older. Every patient who is entrusted to our care follows a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique history, strengths, needs, and goals.
What Youâll Do
Implement and oversee ABA programmingÂ
Deliver direct ABA services to patients
Conduct behavioral assessments, including ADOS and other specialized evaluations
Facilitate daily interdisciplinary team meetings
Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and pursue ongoing professional growth
Attend required meetings, trainings, and annual in-services
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards

What Weâre Looking For
Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations
Clinical competence in providing high-quality ABA services in a structured setting
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ďˇ Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unitďˇ Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associatesďˇ Trains new staff on ABA techniquesďˇ Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvementďˇ Facilitates daily team meetingsďˇ Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-servicesďˇ Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unitďˇ Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely mannerďˇ Participates in performance improvement activitiesďˇ Follows all hospital policies and proceduresďˇ Must maintain license or certification in good standingďˇ Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriateďˇ Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisorOTHER FUNCTIONS:ďˇ Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:ďˇ Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plansďˇ Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsďˇ Experience with working with adolescent populationďˇ Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:ďˇ Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACBďˇ CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered byfacility).ďˇ First aid may be required based on state or facility.
