The Building Safety Act Data Coordinator is a key role responsible for managing and analyzing data to ensure compliance with The Building Safety Act for one of Yugo’s clients. This role involves developing and maintaining data systems, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance safety protocols. Key to the role is maintaining Building Safety cases and key data such as Golden Thread. The position is exclusive to an investor group with specific needs for their managed assets
Responsibilities
Data Management:
- Collect, compile, and Golden Thread data from various sources such as MOR incident reports, inspections, and audits
- Assist with the development of a specific database for management of Golden Thread data
- Implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Maintain and update the Golden Thread data safety databases and systems
- Collation and management of compliance data to assist with responses to the Building Safety Regulator
- Assist with the upkeep of Building Safety cases to maintain compliance for investors
Data Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret safety data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement
- Use statistical tools and software to perform detailed analyses and generate Golden Thread data reports
- Access The Building Safety Regulators Portal and monitor alerts and information requests
- Prepare and present data-driven reports and presentations for a sepcific investor
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Provide accurate data to assist compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Provide accurate data to assist compliance with The Building Safety Act regulations
- Identify potential safety risks and propose preventive actions
- Manage the High-Rise Building tracker for our group companies investors
- Support the development and implementation of safety initiatives based on data findings
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with different departments to implement safety measures and improvements
- Provide technical support and guidance on safety data management
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and relevant personnel
Training and Development:
- Assist in the development of Building Safety Act, safety training materials
- Train staff on data recording and reporting procedures related to Golden Thread data needs
- Actively refresh skills and knowledge of the role to ensure evolution of the role is maintained

Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a Health and Safety context
- Familiarity with Building Safety Act, management systems, safety regulations and standards
- Hands on experience of Fire Safety
Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in safety software and tools
- Excellent communication and presentations skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manager multiple tasks
