Business Analyst
Your area of work:
Within the CTO division at Deutsche Börse Group, we operate and develop the group-wide IT infrastructure — spanning networks, data centers, cloud environments, Group Data & Advanced Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture.
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as te critical bridge between product IT stakeholders and AI engineering teams, translating complex business requirements into precise, machine-interpretable specifications that power our multi-agent orchestration platform (Agent Chain). In this role, you will define and track KPIs that measure the efficiency gains of AI-driven automation across 25,000+ repositories and 1,400+ developers, ensuring every agent delivers measurable business value.
Your responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and translate product IT requirements into structured specifications — including user stories, Gherkin acceptance criteria, and technical notes — that serve as reliable AI agent instructions
- Design and maintain KPI frameworks and dashboards to measure AI automation impact, covering DORA metrics, ticket automation rates, and developer productivity gains
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering leads, and the CTO office to prioritise agent capabilities and validate that AI outputs align with business intent
- Define and refine quality benchmarks for agent-generated artefacts, working closely with Refinement and Decision Agents to continuously improve confidence thresholds and output accuracy
- Analyse workflow data across Jira On-Premise and GitHub EU Cloud to identify automation opportunities and quantify the share of low-complexity tickets suitable for autonomous processing
- Ensure all requirement artefacts and metrics comply with EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2 regulatory standards through traceable, versioned documentation
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within IT environments
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, GenAI and agentic workflows
- Strong proficiency in structured specification methods, including Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD/Gherkin), user story mapping, and acceptance criteria definition
- Hands-on experience with Jira (including on-premise configurations), Confluence, and agile workflow management at enterprise scale
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis and KPI design, with practical knowledge of DORA metrics, efficiency measurement, and dashboard tooling (e.g. Grafana, Power BI)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to mediate effectively between non-technical product teams and highly technical AI engineering squads
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Would be an advantage:
- Financial market infrastructure domain knowledge
- Experience working in regulated environments (EU AI Act, NIS2)
