POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analyst sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and technical teams within the Tech & Digital Strategy department, owning the full solution lifecycle across Salesforce platform initiatives; from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate brings demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce and Fonteva AMS, translating business needs into configured, tested, and documented solutions in close partnership with business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements Gathering and Documentation

  • Elicit and document business requirements using interviews, workshops, process analysis, and use case development
  • Maintain requirements traceability and support validation activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare system documentation, specifications, and standard operating procedures

Salesforce Platform and Fonteva Association Management System (AMS)

  • Configure and support Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Serves as a functional subject matter expert across Fonteva AMS to support membership, events, and related business processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, bringing enough platform knowledge to evaluate tradeoffs and push back on approaches that don’t serve the business need

Project Delivery

  • Lead requirements through deployment delivery on Salesforce implementation and optimization projects, managing scope, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment without day-to-day oversight
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external implementation partners to communicate requirements, track dependencies, and surface blockers early.
  • Lead the user acceptance testing process – develop test plans, coordinate testers, document results, and drive resolution of identified issues
  • Produce training materials, change management documentation, and deployment artifacts as a standard part of project close-out

Business Process Analysis

  • Analyze current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities within Salesforce and related systems
  • Create workflow diagrams, process maps, and system documentation
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of technical fluency
