Working in the Digital Engagement Department
At Telenet, we want to stay one step ahead in the digital world by creating experiences that make life simpler, smarter and more connected for our customers.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen our Digital Engagement department, a group of multidisciplinary teams that create intuitive, consistent and high-impact digital experiences.

As a Business Analyst in the Digital Navigation & Experience team, you will work at the heart of MyTelenet and My BASE, our two main customer zones in web where customers start some of the most important interactions with Telenet and BASE.

You will play a crucial role in improving our digital customer experience and delivering solutions with real customer and business impact. Working side by side with the Product Owner, the full delivery team and various stakeholders, you will help shape the roadmap for customer-zone navigation across both brands.

Our Business Analysts are in the midst of the action when it comes to digital development at Telenet and BASE. They translate our customer experience vision into concrete delivery, while helping shape the product choices that will define the future of MyTelenet and My BASE.

Your tasks as a Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, the customers’ needs are your top priority, and you help your colleagues find the right solutions to elevate our digital customer experience and solutions to the next level.

  • You translate the business needs into clear requirements and evaluate the feasibility of change requests. You help to develop the company, tribe and team objectives/roadmap.
  • You act as a domain expert for internal stakeholders and the delivery partner, ensuring well-documented and up-to-date processes, workflows, and specifications.
  • You facilitate interactions with stakeholders and the product owner, you explore possible solutions and define the final solution design and business requirements
  • You document the chosen solution, ensuring quality and legal compliance.
  • You chunk epics into stories and determine the acceptance criteria and afterwards follow-up the correct implementation of required actions/activities/change management.
  • You brief the delivery partner for implementation, oversee testing, and follow up on the ‘go live’ process.
  • You set-up performance reporting and monitor our MyTelenet & MyBASE navigation and experience. You proactively look for potential improvements to align our products with future customer needs, using (user) data as a basis.

Your profile as a Business Analyst

  • Is a business-oriented profile with a deep understanding of commercial and customer-driven challenges, and the ability to bridge these with technology
  • Proven experience in business, commercial or digital
  • Excellent (ENG) communicator with the ability to translate business needs into requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Understands business priorities first and uses digital as an enabler, rather than approaching challenges from a technical perspective.
  • Can anticipate and balance the needs of diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proactivity and has the courage to address challenges and difficult issues head-on.
  • Can handle ambiguity and thrives in situations where not everything is set in stone.
  • Has a technical affinity to support and challenge the delivery partner effectively.
