We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our CatalyX product team, supporting the development of the products in our suite such as CatalyX Blockchain Manager (CBM) and CatalyX Package Manager (CPM), and also support in advisory and consultancy work in the institutional blockchain space.

Our product suite is focused on the Canton Network and DAML smart contract language, so we're looking for someone who is technically literate: comfortable reading API specs and data payloads, understanding distributed systems, and picking up new technical concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product manager and engineers to define the business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate clear communication between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet both business needs and technical feasibility.
Produce high-quality artifacts, including financial flow analyses, message mappings, and functional specifications.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate developed features and ensure alignment with business expectations.
Act as a direct point of contact with institutional clients in support of advisory and consultancy work, gathering their requirements and answering technical/business questions.
Support and organize product demonstration sessions internally and with external clients.
Perform data analytics and reporting to support advisory and consultancy engagements, turning transaction and usage data into insights for institutional clients.
Monitor trends across blockchain networks, such as the Canton network, customer ecosystem, and competitive landscape, to provide actionable insights for product evolution and advisory work.
Contribute to product roadmap shaping, leveraging data, client feedback, and market insight to recommend feature priorities and improvements.

Technical skills

Must have:

3+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience in IT or software development projects.
Strong understanding of BA responsibilities, including requirements elicitation, gap analysis, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, comfortable working with technical teams, business teams, and external institutional clients.
Solid understanding of blockchain technology, tokenization, and DLT, ideally with exposure to Canton Network or other institutional blockchain networks.
Understanding of product lifecycle management and versioning in SaaS or enterprise software contexts.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to produce and interpret business process models, data flow diagrams, and UML/BPMN documentation.
Strong analytical mindset, with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Nice to Have:

Basic understanding of Canton, Digital Asset DAML, or other smart contract platforms.
Demonstrated DLT experience: some hands-on exposure to at least one blockchain, Web3, or DLT project.
Familiarity with financial services or capital markets (e.g., settlement, custody, payments).
Prior consulting, pre-sales, or advisory experience.
Experience with API-based integrations and event-driven architectures.
Understanding of cryptographic principles (public/private keys, digital signatures).
