Are you ready to discover the role of a Business Analyst in Netcompany?
Joining as a Business Analyst, you will be part of our EUSS Service within the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). You will be responsible for bridging the gap between the business needs and the Eudamed IT solution.
The European database on medical devices is an online platform that provides a living picture of the lifecycle of medical devices that are made available in the European Union (EU). It will integrate different electronic systems to collate and process information about medical devices and related companies (e.g. manufacturers). In doing so, EUDAMED aims to enhance overall transparency, through better access to information for the public and healthcare professionals, and coordination between the different Member States in the EU.
As a Business Analyst you will:
- Analyse business processes, identify process issues, delays, bottlenecks and propose process improvements and automation opportunities
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study process and system capabilities, write specifications
- Gather requirements, define scope, use cases, business rules and the business domain while clarifying terminology
- Conduct impact analysis of a requirement or change request
- Write and Maintain documentation regarding processes and analysis of the system
- Liaise between various departments and groups
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and communicate effectively
- Collaborate with and drive cross-functional teams and Information Technology (IT) teams
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field (business analysis, operational research, mathematical modelling, statistics, data analytics or related fields), or 2 years hands-on experience in similar role
- Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive; great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with data analysis and modelling
- BPMN knowledge
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
- Familiarity with brainstorming and collaborative methods and tools
- Basic experience with/knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence
- Experience in change management
- Certifications like Business Analyst, Agilist, Scrum, Lean/Sig Sigma, aCAP, or other relevant
- Knowledge of Python (maintain & update existing application)
