The Base

We are based at 7 Bryant Park in the heart of NYC. And we have everything we need to work flexibly. We operate a hybrid working model, with a requirement that our Senior Client Director be in the office 3 days per week. This is to sustain our culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and building relationships within the business.

 

Position Overview

Schroders is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Asset Management Platform team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver technology change across the Americas business, supporting both North America and Latin America teams.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business needs and technology delivery. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, Transformation, and Global Technology teams to analyze requirements, support implementation, and help deliver effective, scalable solutions that meet regional priorities.

You will play an important role in identifying business needs, translating them into clear technical requirements, and supporting delivery in a timely and cost-effective way. The position offers broad exposure across initiatives and training within the investment management industry, whilst requiring strong collaboration and sound judgement.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong track record in technology change and delivery. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, from early-stage mobilization through in-flight delivery and production readiness. They will bring a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for solving complex business and technology challenges.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to high-level technical and data analysis of proposed initiatives to identify requirements and propose solutions.

  • Work closely with project sponsors to understand and translate business expectations into actionable technical solutions.

  • Maintain work backlogs within the Agile methodology to breakdown projects into features, and features into stories.

  • Contribute to maintaining relationships with the business, Global Technology, and peers across the globe.

  • Contribute to defining and continuously improving best practice for Business Analysis and Project Management.

  • Contribute to the testing process for developed solutions.

  • Provide timely, accurate and concise status reporting highlighting progress, issues, and risks.

  • Help manage stakeholder expectations and communications.

  • Work on cross domain change, including Public & Private Investments and Client functions, providing proof-of-value/proof-of-concept items, vendor platform selections, data integration programs, and harnessing cutting-edge AI capabilities.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Understanding of analysis and project management disciplines, processes, and tools.

  • Experience in monitoring and managing issues, risks and dependencies.

  • Strong reporting skills with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering technology change using Agile methodologies.

  • Experience of working on projects across both functional and geographic boundaries.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage own activities in the best interests of the team’s workload.

  • Inspiring and collaborative team player.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and a continuous improvement mindset that challenges the status quo.

  • Receptive to others’ ideas and responds constructively to feedback.

 

Compensation

Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $110,000-$120,000 for this position.

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
